Bill,
Just finished reading Miles to Vietnam Books 1, 2, and 3. Your writing is wonderful, informative and edge of the seat exciting. Great work, looking forward to Book 4 and starting your Korean War Story series.
Thanks for all your hard work.

I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the books, Ron. Thanks for the kind words. The Korea series should keep you busy while we all wait for Book 4 of Miles to Vietnam.
Thanks so much for reading,
WPG
Mate, I first cottoned on to the Korean War series, and thoroughly enjoyed it and of course, then came the Miles to Vietnam saga, which I have devoured, and am waiting with bated breath for the next instalment… please hurry!! 😁
I’ve since gone back in time and read the Miles story in the Pacific, and then the Moon brothers in Europe… and what do you know… enjoyed them immensely, too!
I find your writing very easy to read, and the pace of the stories, whilst relatively fast, is very easy to follow. Your characters, too, are so well fleshed out that they become easy to like. Or dislike, as the case may be!
Interesting, too, that an American writer is taking on the sacred cows of US military leadership during W2… I can only imagine that would make you a touch unpopular with certain sections of the US population!
Anyway, thank you for sharing your vision of world changing events, and writing stories that I, at least, have found extremely enjoyable!
Thanks for the kind words, John. I’m very glad you’ve enjoyed all the series. Stay tuned…there are more to come.
Interesting what you say about taking on sacred cows. Surprisingly, I’ve received very little blowback from it over the years.
Thanks for reading,

Nothing is better than finding a new great author! I loved your books on Miles in ‘Nam. Now, while I wait for the next one (just finished #5), I have your other serieses to keep me occupied.
These are among my favorite books to read. They flow so well. The action is frequent and well written. The characters are believable and easy to love (or hate as the situation requires 😀 ).
Thanks for the kind words, Jim. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the books. There are more stories to come, filled with many of characters you’ve come to love.
Thanks for reading,
WPG
Hello,
the only ime I have to read books is through the night when I am driving my truck. are these by chance available in the audiobook format?
Thank you.
My only two novels available in audiobook format are Long Walk to the Sun (the first book in the Jock Miles WW2 Adventure series) and Moon Above, Moon Below (the first book in the Moon Brothers WW2 Adventure series). You might find it interesting to hear the early adventures of Jock Miles (Jif’s father) and Sean Moon (Jif’s mentor) before they show up in Jif’s Vietnam series. Appreciate the interest!
Great to hear you’ve been enjoying all the war series books, Corey. Miles to Vietnam #7 is on target to be released in December; no exact date yet. You can join my new release mailing list to get notified as soon as it’s available or follow me on Amazon; Amazon also sends out a new release notification. Hope you enjoy this new book, as well, and thanks for reading!
I have read all 7 of the Miles to Vietnam series and thoroughly enjoyed them. As a young man in 1964 I finished my first year of college but was without the financial means to continue so I enlisted in the Army. I figured I would end up in Vietnam at some point so I decided to get the best possible training. I tested and was accepted for Special Forces. After earning my beret, I spent 1 and 1/2 tours in the Central Highlands and left the Army in 1967 as a buck sergeant. Some of the real life experiences I had were similar to the fictional ones of Jif Miles so his fictional experiences resonated with me. Your writing is polished, your characters are true-to-life and your plot lines are well conceived. Thank you.
I appreciate the kind words, Robert, and I’m so glad you’re enjoying the books. It means so much to me when my work resonates with someone who knows the score. Jif and the rest of the Miles family will be returning in a new series in mid-2025 that covers the years after Vietnam.
Thanks for reading,
WPG
